It’s always your choice, whether it’s being paid by your insurance or a third party. Your insurance company may recommend that you have your repairs done through a specific shop, but ultimately you get to decide.
Repairs vary depending upon the damages that have occurred. We use industry and universally accepted formula to determine how long your repairs will take. However, unexpected delays can always happen, for example – back-ordered parts, but we will always keep you informed.
If you require a rental, it is best to contact your insurance company, make your claim and get a claim number from them, ensuring that you have rental coverage. If you are unable to make contact with your insurance company, you may still proceed with the rental, however at the chance that you will personally be liable for any associated costs. There is a rental car company we work with and have cars readily available on premise, to make it easier for our customers.
Since every collision, every repair and every situation is different, our estimators need to examine the vehicle in order to determine exactly what is required and to be able to provide you and your Insurance company with a detailed outline and a “no-surprise” estimate. It is very difficult to give out “ballpark” estimates on the phone, when only having a verbal description of the repair required, and there could be hidden damages that need to be addressed. It is in your best interest to come into our shop and discuss the repairs and the estimated costs with our professionals.
